Welcome to MOLOKAI VILLAGE in Diamondhead Mississippi from your Board of Directors, the governing body of our complex. Whether this is your primary residence, your secondary residence or your temporary residence, it is you, the residents that form the backbone of the Molokai experience. Management and the Board are at your service with a goal of providing you with all that is best in our own little slice of paradise on the Mississippi Gulf Coast.
A LITTLE BACKGROUND
MOLOKAI VILLAGE was constructed in 1971/1972. There are 11 buildings in the complex. Buildings A & D have a raised foundation, all others have a slab foundation. The office/maintenance building (L) was built in 1986. The original roofs were tar/gravel (built-up) with shake shingle facades, (bad choice – they were leaky). All buildings had roofs added (the ones you can now see) in 1984/1985 (good – no leaks). There are no major renovations planned at this time. The Association is operated by a Board of Directors and an Association Manager. The Association operates under a Declaration of Condominium (regulated by State of Mississippi law), By-Laws and Rules & Regulations. These documents are here [*1] or available for your review at the office (Building L). Also enclosed are the Rules & Regulations and a layout of the Molokai Village Complex consisting of 11 buildings; 75 Condominium Units, a laundry room and our Office/Maintenance building. Also, a large, well kept swimming pool is available for your use. The area to the North/East of our property is the number 12 fairway of the Pine Golf Course.
A LITTLE FOREGROUND
If you are an owner, a guest of an owner or you are renting from an owner – you are entitled to the use of all Diamondhead’s amenities – walking trails, 2 – 18 hole golf courses, tennis world, a pavilion, swimming pools, recreations areas, fishing lakes, Maluhia gardens and more! Owners must pay a monthly fee to the Diamondhead Property Owners Association to allow the use of the amenities. There is a monthly maintenance fee of $239, $311, $419, or $437, based on the square footage of your unit. This fee includes all exterior grounds & buildings maintenance, water & sewer, fire protection, buildings insurance and exterior pest control. This fee is due on the first day of the month, is past due on the 15th day of the month and subject to a late fee on the first day of the following month. The monthly fee can be paid in advance, if you choose to do so.
